Stephanie,
“My experience in working with Stephanie has been nothing short of amazing! She was instrumental in helping us sign one of the top U-20 players in Canada, and it was done with professionalism and relative ease. I would highly recommend working with Stephanie, as she knows the US College/University system as well as anyone in Canada, and she has first hand experience with her daughter who played and graduated from a US university”.

“It has always been comforting to know that Stephanie Rushton will be there to guide me when I make my recruiting trips to Ontario. The thing that has stood out in the number of years I have known Stephanie, is how much she cares for “her girls.” She has gone out of her way to help each and every one of the players in her program, making certain that they are connecting with the college programs that best fit their needs. Stephanie has made the effort to understand the college landscape and her knowledge will translate into the creation of a top training environment that will effectively prepare each player for the collegiate and National Team experience.”

Dear Stephanie and Jim
I want to applaud your efforts to focus on developing the athletic, psychological, social, medical and future planning for the student-athletes in Ontario.
Your plan includes training with National “A” coaches for females in their specific sport. It also includes a comprehensive injury prevention program that should be a part of every provincial or national team program. The ACL prevention program can drastically reduce the number of non-contact ACL injuries which plague the sport of women’s soccer.
In some studies, a reduction of greater than 80% has been shown with college age student-athletes. The problem is that many younger players are tearing their ACL’s before implementing such a program in college. This is a critical next step for the young athlete that aspires to be great in her sport.
Taking college tours and preparing young Canadians for the recruiting process is an important step and is in line with the Canadian Soccer Association’s long term plan to place Canada’s elite athletes in the most competitive arenas as possible. Part of this long term plan includes placing elite Canadian athletes at the top American universities where they will be challenged to continue their athletic development on a year round basis.
Currently, most of the scholarships given to Canadians are offered far later than they are to American student-athletes. I believe your program can help the Canadian student-athlete to take a proactive approach towards marketing their talents at an earlier age and increase their opportunities to play in the U.S. at the highest level possible.
I want to wish you the very best in this endeavor and hope the outcome is a significant improvement in the athletic development, health and well being of Canada’s elite female student athletes.

" Steph is an incredible contact for young women in Canada looking to bring their game to the next level and she is extremely well respected within the college coaching world. Her knowledge and experience in placing Canadian players at the Universities in the USA that best fit their needs as a student athlete are unmatched. She cares about each one of her players as if they were her own daughter. Her professionalism and knowledge of how to get these players best prepared for the national and collegiate level is incredible. It is nice for us to know that the players coming through the Winstars Female Soccer School will be well prepared on and off the field when they arrive on our campus. The fact that the Winstars Female Soccer School is preparing the players with ACL prevention and SAT prep classes is something no one else offers, this is an special opportunity for female soccer players in Canada, and one that should create a very beneficial and unique training environment "

Steph,
I am so excited for you and for the many young women who you will impact so greatly in the future! You have a unique ability to holistically affect all parts of a young player’s development and the knowledge to do it with success, caring and a teacher’s attitude.
You will be giving young women in Canada a unique opportunity to be completely prepared for success at the collegiate and national team levels through technical and tactical training, tremendous competition, proprioception training for injury prevention, and academic preparation.
As I have said many times, if I had a daughter I would send her to Canada to spend time with you. I know she would come back a stronger and more confident young woman ready for many great accomplishments!
