Our Academy will play NCAA D1 Western Michigan University

Some of the details, we will be leaving at 6AM on Saturday February 18 for Kalamazoo, Michigan where we will play Western Michigan University at 5pm , we will stay at the Holiday Inn besides the University on the Saturday evening. Get a tour of the University and athletic facilities and hope to get one of our players seen and a scholarship at a NCAA Division 1 Program

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team has released its 2012 Spring schedule. During the shortened Spring season, teams are allowed five competition dates against other collegiate programs, as well as one competition date against an international team. Training may go up to 20 hours per week, which can include strength and conditioning workouts, individual and team training.

"I am very excited to get back to work with the returning players this Spring," said WMU head coach Stu Riddle. "Our primary focus will be on developing the players and giving them opportunities to play against a variety of opponents. I feel with the schedule we have a good balance in terms of opponents and look forward to the games beginning"

The Brown & Gold begins the season hosting Winstars Academy Feb. 18 and then hosts the annual Seelye Invitational Challenge Cup a week later on Feb. 25. WMU faces Spring Arbor in the first game while Saginaw Valley and IPFW square off in game two. Winners move onto the championship game and the other two teams will meet in a consolation game.
Following Spring break, WMU hosts Aquinas College March 17 at Waldo Stadium. The Broncos return to Waldo March 24 and will play shortened games against Detroit and Notre Dame College.

The Broncos travel to South Bend, Ind., for their only road trip of the Spring, taking on Notre Dame and DePaul April 1. Western Michigan concludes the schedule April 6, hosting Big Ten foe Michigan State at Waldo Stadium.

Showcase 2011

This was our best showcase with 140 University Coaches from all over North America attending. Our Academy honoured Duncan Wilde and the Toronto Lynx/Premier Soccer Academy as well as Tom Croft of Ajax Soccer Academy.  Both run excellent programs and have supported our academy since the beginning of our showcase event.

Our Captains Isaiah Page and Ruben Dos Santos made the presentation.  Having all the best academy teams in our showcase continued to make our event the best attended showcase in Canada for Boys looking to achieve exposure and an athletic scholarship.  

We thank everyone for supporting our fine event.

MICHIGAN ACADEMY TOUR

Saturday February 18 Thru Monday February 20, 2012

I am happy to announce that our academy will be heading to Michigan over the Family Day weekend in February. We will be playing three games at NCAA Division 1 Universities and as well as playing the Universities, we will be getting a tour of each University by the Coaches. We will also get as many coaches from the area to come and watch and also we will have each game videotaped.

The Cost per Player is $600 and this includes, transportation, food for three days and two nights accommodations. The cost if one of your Parents wants to come will be $250 per person.

I would like all Players to come on this trip, all players will play and I am working on getting a couple of games for our younger academy players.

I will finalize all the details right away, however it is a done deal, just putting everything together.

Would appreciate if you could bring me a cheque tomorrow night to training or you can go online and make payment by credit card. I have to prepay all the expenses so I really need you to bring the money tomorrow night to training.
